• The integrity of buried pipelines is of paramount importance from safety, environmental and cost perspective.

• Therefore a range of Pipeline Integrity products are provided, namely from Smart Interrupters which enable the measurement of the effectiveness of Cathodic Protection Systems to Pipeline Current Mapping to identify and locate weaknesses in pipeline coatings


SI220 SI220 Smart Interrupter

The SI220 is a high performance Smart Interrupter for monitoring the effectiveness of Cathodic Protection (CP) systems. It is a devise to enable the interruption of the CP current thereby allowing the integrity of the pipeline coating to be evaluated without disturbing the pipeline.

SI220 can be used to monitor a variety of CP systems and the effect of multiple CP sources with its ability to switch currents up to 100 Amps at 220V peak (155V rms) and its capability to synchronise up to 8 units.

SI100 SI100 Smart Interrupter

SI100 is a solid state interrupter for corrosion technicians. It features advanced power management, high current switching capability, user programmability, circuit protection and compact physical size. It can be used as a conventional 50A interrupter as well as generating unique signatures for the Radiodetection Stray Current Mapper (SCM) system.

Combined with its new high performance transmitter, the PCM+ can accurately locate and map the pipeline for up to 19 miles, providing simultaneous measurement of PCM Current and Voltage Gradient, even in areas where there is contact with other metallic structures, interference, or congestion.

This would help pipeline technician to perform direct connection 'current spans' and manual calculations to determine CP currents along the pipeline, reducing false indications and minimizing unnecessary excavations.
